1997–2001[]

Bumper: On the background of the Alliance Atlantis logo of the era, we see one of the following clip-ons in a bold Times New Roman font.

Clip-ons:

  • Coming Soon To Home Video
  • Coming Soon To a Theater Near You

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: An abridged version of the 1991 Alliance Atlantis logo music.

Music/Sounds Variant: On the earliest VHS tapes, the bumper is silent.

Availability: Rare. Seen on most videocassettes distributed by Alliance Atlantis with previews during the era such as Scream 3 and Scary Movie. The "theater near you" clip-on is a tougher find, but can be found, for example, on an Alliance Atlantis VHS release of Good Will Hunting. Strangely, this isn't seen on Let's Talk About Sex.

2002–2005[]

Bumper: Same as before, except the ID is now on a sky blue-black gradient background and the clip-on text is altered and in a different font.

Variant: A French version was found on the French-Canadian VHS tapes of Startup.com and About Schmidt.

FX/SFX: Same as above.

Music/Sounds: Same as above.

Availability: Rare. It appears on Alliance Atlantis VHS releases with previews from the era, such as Spin the Bottle, Virginia's Run, Birthday Girl, and Bowling For Columbine. It last appeared on a demo VHS of Seed of Chucky.

2004–2012[]

Bumper: Over a spotlight which is illuminating fog drifting in the background, we see one of the following clip-ons in neon yellow turn to face us letter by letter.

Clip-ons:

  • Coming to THEATRES
  • Coming to DVD
  • Own it Now on DVD

Variant: Starting in 2008, the background is a white-blue gradient, the fog is dark blue, and the text is silver and all on one line. Most of the text is also in lowercase. Much of the text animation is, however, still the same.

FX/SFX: The fog drifting and the letters turning.

Music/Sounds: An 8-note synth theme.

Availability: Rare. Seen on a few Alliance Atlantis DVD releases with previews, particularly a few complete season packages of Trailer Park Boys and Canadian Weinstein Company DVDs from the era.
