- On Magee and the Lady, the text is in italics, and in lowercase, and it was on a purple background, with a black diamond inside.
- On Death Drug, the text is in all-caps and in a different font on an black-orange gradient background (running diagonally from left-to-right, and with orange being the dominant color),

Availability: Very rare. Seen at the end of several Academy Home Entertainment tapes with previews.
December 28, 1987-1990[]
Bumper: We see the normal Academy Entertainment logo, then it crossfades to the star at the beginning of the logo, with the words "COMING" and "ATTRACTIONS" above and below the logo.
FX/SFX: The fading from the Academy logo.
Music/Sounds: The music from the Academy Entertainment logo.
Availability: Extremely rare. Seen on After School and To Die For.
1990–94[]
Bumper: On a black background, we see the words "COMING SOON FROM" above the Academy Entertainment logo, which is laid out horizontally in such a way that the "star" is to the left of the words. Everything is in purple.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Fairly common. Seen on most releases from the era with previews (Desire being an exception), its first known appearance being on Mortal Sins.
