1983-1995[]

Bumper: Just either the 1983 or 1984 CBS/Fox Video logos, the 1991 Fox Video logo, the Medusa Communications logo or the Screen Time Entertainment logos without any bumper indicator whatsoever.

FX/SFX: The original logos' animation.

Music/Sounds: The music of whatever logo is shown, like before. After it, we hear a voiceover, Don Rainsford from Channel 7, who says "Please rewind this cassette before returning it to your video library."

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • From 1983-1984, a male announcer says "Don't forget to rewind this tape before returning it to your video library."
  • From 1991 until mid-1992, only the voiceover is heard on the Fox Video variant.
  • On some CBS/Fox Video releases, we hear Chelsea Brown saying "Could you please rewind your cassette before returning it to your video library?"
  • On the 1991 "Uncut Version" VHS of Marked for Death, the full fanfare plays, minus the opening drumbeats, after which we hear the voiceover.

Availability:

  • The 1983 version appears at the end of early CBS/Fox Video releases in Australia, such as the 1984 releases of The Star Chamber and The Empire Strikes Back.
  • The post-1984 versions are seen at the end of most CBS/Fox Video and Fox Video titles in Australia, plus titles from labels Medusa Communications and Screen Time Entertainment.

1995-2005[]

Bumper: We see the 1995 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment international logo animating as normal. After that, it fades to a black-blue gradient background, with the following text (in a Times New Roman font) over it:

PLEASE REWIND
THIS CASSETTE
BEFORE RETURNING
IT TO YOUR
VIDEO LIBRARY

Variant: Starting in 1999, the 1999 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment international logo animates as normal. After it ends, it fades to black, and we see the same text, this time in a Helvetica font.

FX/SFX: The 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment logo animating, the transition.

Music/Sounds: The 1994 20th Century Fox fanfare. After that, we hear the voiceover from before as the second screen appears.
